Subject: Participation in SIU Creative Writing Fest 2026
All the students of the college are hereby informed that Sylhet International University (SIU) is organizing the SIU Creative Writing Fest 2026 (Session Two) under the theme “My Words, My Story”.
Interested students who wish to participate in this festival (Poetry, Short Story, or Essay in Bangla or English) are requested to submit their names to the Department of English within the stipulated time. Submission of names is mandatory before sending the final writing to SIU.
Students may participate under the following categories:
•College Level
•University Level
•All Writing Enthusiasts
Last date for submitting names to the Department of English: 08 Nov 2026.
Special Note for English Department Teachers:
All respected teachers of the Department of English are kindly requested to take necessary initiatives to inform, motivate, and guide students regarding this festival. Teachers are also requested to make proper arrangements so that maximum student participation from our institution is ensured.
This is a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and develop their literary skills. All concerned are requested to give this matter due importance.
